LANDMART, Inc. and Dean Land & Realty Company A native of Leland in Washington County, MS, Mr. Dean is an agri-business graduate of Mississippi State University and has owned & operated the present real estate brokerage since 1980. His firm also owns and manages farmland and commercial properties in four southern states. Since early 1980's, Mr. Dean has developed extensive international client relationships in five European countries and Japan and is a regular marketing participant at the World Congress of the International Real Estate Federation and at National Marketing Sessions of the REALTORS Land Institute. John Dean is one of twelve Mississippi REALTORS who holds the designation of Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) and is one of only three Certified International Property Specialists (CIPS) in this state as awarded by the National Association of REALTORS. Sam Newsom is the newest agent to join our team Sam A. Newsom is a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Delta. He was educated in the Glen Allan school system and graduated from Mississippi State with a BS in Agronomy. He has many years of sales, marketing and management experience with global agricultural crop protection companies. He and his wife, Kay were actively engaged in farming in the South Delta for many years. During this time he gained hands-on experience as a land owner, renter,buyer and seller of farm land. He also has firsthand experience in putting farmland in government conservation programs. Sam has been actively involved in residential and commercial development of raw farmland. He has also gained valuable business experience from starting and successfully developing a local business in the Greenville area. Sam has been active in the acquisition and development of forest land into a premier hunting resort with a commercial development. He is a holder of a Mississippi Agricultural Consultant license, a Mississippi Commercial Applicator license, a Certified Crop Advisor license, a Mississippi Real Estate license and serves as a Commissioner on the Mississippi Soil and Water Conservation Commission. He has been actively involved in many professional and civic organizations while serving on regional hospital and bank boards. Sam and Kay are members of the First Baptist Church in Greenville.
